I have chosen to look at the Saw II trailer as I have seen this horror movie before and found it extremely interesting. I feel this horror trailer is very effective and well structured and easy to follow despite the extremely disorientated camera movements. The trailer begins with intertitles and these feature throughout the trailer showing the different stages of the horror which not only gives us a good insight to what the film is going to be about without giving too mch of the plot away but it also gives the trailer a structured feel as it is very easy to follow- the audience do not have to focus alot of their attention to be able to follow it. I really like the 'jumpy' feel to this horror trailer it left me feeling on edge which is something you would expect to be left with after watching a horror trailer. On the less 'jumpy' parts of the trailer the shots have been edited so they zoom in quite quickly adding to the disorientating feel to this trailer- I find this very effective and this is something I would like to edit in to my horror trailer. I really like the voice over which is in this trailer, it sounds out of the ordinary and gived the audience a good insight to what the film is going to be about. Exaggerated sounds and flickers have been edited in to give this trailer more edge and to keep the audience focused, I feel this is very interesting and it kept me focused whilst watching this trailer. The only thing I am not overkeen on in this trailer is the end titles which are a strange rounded blurry red font, I feel this does not particulary fit well with the film; I think a harsher looking font would have looked much better.
